Giant bats live in Template:Ls and Template:Ls. They are one size bigger than a Template:L. Giant bats are dangerous opponents and can easily kill unskilled adventurers and Template:L. In fortress mode they generally keep their distance, but they will attack your dwarves if they come too close, and are quite able to kill your average civilian dwarf.
Giant bats are among the chasm creatures that reproduce; Template:L and Template:L them for Template:L and/or fortress defense is worthwhile.
