This article is about an older version of DF. |
An armor stand is used to hang armor on. Dwarves will currently hang unwearable pieces of armor that they acquire (mostly goblinite) on armor stands in their rooms but won't use them. It can be made of stone, glass, wood, or metal.
As with the weapon rack, they may be used for laying down an official barracks. Outside of that, they will be largely for decoration and to appease nobles.
It requires 3 metal bars to make an armor stand out of metal.
The "allowed items" and "allowed materials" settings do not serve any function, having been rendered obsolete by armor stockpiles.
