Recent downtime Bay 12 Games had a disagreement with its hosting company (read: they pulled the plug with effectively no warning). As a result, it was down for several days. Bay 12 Games has transferred to a new host and appears to be fully working again. The website is dead, long live the website! If the forum appears broken, you probably have a stale DNS cache. The best you can do is wait, it will fix itself in a day or two. |

Dwarf Fortress is a Mac and Windows game (though it can be played on other systems using Wine), developed by Bay 12 Games featuring two modes of play, a distinct, randomly-generated world (complete with terrain, wildlife and legends), gruesome combat mechanics and vicious schools of carp.
