The magma glass furnace is built and functions exactly like a normal Template:L, but uses Template:L instead of Template:L* as a heat source. Magma glass furnaces must be built with their left or right center tile hanging directly over the Template:L.
Due to a bug, the tiles above the magma will not be treated as impassable, so any unit (most frequently a Template:L) which manages to walk onto the tile and stop there will get stuck. See Template:L for more details.
