The magma glass furnace is built and functions exactly like a normal Template:L, but uses Template:L instead of Template:L* as a heat source. Magma glass furnaces must be built with their left or right center tile hanging directly over the Template:L.

Due to a bug, the tiles above the magma will not be treated as impassable, so any unit which manages to walk onto the tile and stop there will tend to get stuck there. See Template:L for more details.
