The Broker is a useful Template:L with no Template:Ls or Template:L. They have several duties in the running of an organised fortress.
If the broker has the Template:L skill, they will allow you to see the count of your fortresses Template:L in the Template:L screen (z). The exactness with which this can be seen is determined by the duties of the Template:L. Your broker should also have the Template:L skill to see how traders Template:L to trade offers.
At the Template:L, you can specify that only the broker may Template:L with visiting Template:Ls. The advantage of this is that the broker gains skill in appraisal as he trades, which both allows the display of fortress wealth and helps with getting the best deals in your trading efforts.
