v50.14 · v0.47.05 This article is about the current version of DF.Note that some content may still need to be updated. |
This feature has one or more outstanding bugs. Please view the Bugs section for details. |
Weapon racks (b-r) are a type of furniture which can be used to create a barracks or to appease a noble's demand or raise the value of a room.
In theory, when used in a barracks designated for Individual Equipment storage, dwarves will prefer to store their weapons on the racks instead of stockpiles. Doing so in concert with armor stands would allow you to create centralized armories for your military. Unfortunately this doesn't work due to a bug.
Bugs
- Dwarves don't actually use weapon racks for storing anything. If you have no stockpiles anywhere that accept weapons, they'll just get left where they're dropped.Bug:1445
