- A tiny amphibian with a long prehensile tail. It lives in underground swamps and tower-cap forests on which it feeds.
Cap hoppers are a species of subterranean, amphibious vermin creatures that live in the first and second layers of the caverns. They can be captured by trappers and turned into pets, and are otherwise unremarkable. All cap hoppers possess Legendary skill in climbing.
Some dwarves like cap hoppers for their swinging antics.
