The dungeon master is a dwarven noble appointed by the mayor. Dungeon masters appeared in earlier versions where their stated purpose was to train exotic pets, but were since removed. As of 0.47.01 they have returned, but little is known about their current function. The appointment menu favors citizens with the Schemer skill
Things noted from the Raws:
- Precedence has moved down a bit
- Now appointed by Mayor rather than Baron(etc).
- No longer [PUNISHMENT_EXEMPT]
- [RESPONSIBILITY:ESPIONAGE]
- [RESPONSIBILITY:MANAGE_ANIMALS] does this mean Animal training has changed?
History
v44.x: Animal training is done through the Animals menu, and does not require a specific noble.
Prior to 0.34.06, the Dungeon master appeared in the raw files, but would never appear.
