This article is about an older version of DF.
A large humanoid monster from the wild tundra. It has translucent skin, icicles for teeth, red glowing eyes and pointed ears.

Blizzard men are creatures found in Template:L sections of the Template:L and Template:L biomes; while their name is similar to that of the Template:L and Template:L, they lack the Template:L tag. Goblins have been seen to bring these along with them for sieges.

Do not try killing this with hammerdwarves unless you want to beat the living snuff out of it and watch it kill your dwarves... through attrition and starvation as they ceaselessly barrage him with bone crushing strikes as he lies there and takes it like a real man. I would suggest an edged weapon because they don't seem to die unless severed.

Blizzard men give any unarmed dwarves they encounter a hard time, followed by death. Because of this, to avoid casualties, it's best to either build an Template:L wall around where you're settling (since ice is easy to get on glaciers and won't melt in that environment) with a door to the outside that is usually locked, or keep unarmed workers underground while your guards stay close to the surface. One or two starting dwarves selected as either a Template:L or an Template:L and given proper equipment will take down invading Blizzard men and will protect your workers, letting you focus on more important matters, such as building your fortress and getting needed resources.

Blizzard men like to hit your dwarves with their socks.
