Wikipedia article

This article is about an older version of DF.
A medium-sized creature prone to great ambition.

Humans are intelligent humanoid Template:L that live in cities on the plains. They are one of the races playable in Template:L. Their buildings are made entirely of Template:L (Or in the case of towers, Template:L), and usually include several houses and Template:Ls, and a tavern. Their metal-working technology is Template:L-based (can be modded), and they often carry bronze Template:L and Template:L. Also, the lifespan of a human ranges between sixty and one hundred and twenty years.

In Template:L, they are primarily interested in Template:L, and generally send large Template:Ls in Template:L. Humans usually bring overworld food stuffs, Template:L, Template:L, extra-large clothing and bronze items. If their caravans are destroyed or if the diplomat is killed, regardless of cause, they will eventually send a Template:L force to your fortress.

Some humans sometimes decide to live in shallow caves and stare at black and white special glass tablets for weeks at a time, and being angry if disturbed; this does not yield artifacts, but leads to engravings of their war stories shared by some kind of intercave network dedicated to it and also sharing engravings of kittens typically busy giving orders in some strange language.
