- A huge cave monster with hundreds of feet moving along the bottom of its long body. In place of a head, it has an enormous maw.
When these beasts spawn they will attempt to travel to buildings in your fortress and Template:L. They do this even if they aren't in its line of sight. However they do not actively seek conflict with dwarves for combat. Because of these traits it is simple to capture cave crawlers: First restrict access by any means to your underground buildings. Then allow the them access through a way that has Template:L built to capture them. They will path to those buildings through that entrance and get Template:L.
They can be tamed by a Template:L. They can be used as a mount by Template:L Template:Lrs.
