While weak individually, crundles often move in large packs and can pose a substantial Template:L to workers, Template:Ls, Template:Ls or Template:L that might be wandering through Template:L. However, they tend to scatter when Template:L with well-armed Template:Ls, and so pose little threat to any Template:L you send to take care of them.
If you rely on traps to defend your fortress, it should be noted that Template:L are fairly ineffective against crundles. They don't hit the ground hard enough. Unless, of course, the ground is flooded with Template:L, Template:L, or best of all, Template:L.
They can be Template:Ld by the elusive Template:L, and while they are small and offer fairly few edible parts, their Template:L are a good and plentiful source of food.
