This article is about an older version of DF.
A huge monster that lurks in caverns deep under the earth. It uses its wide beak to reach down and pluck up unsuspecting intruders.

Jabberers are giant creatures. They exist to kill dorfs. (Seriously, one crawled out from the cavern system, and slaughtered everything sent to kill it.)

Can be used as a mount by Template:L siegers.
