This article is about an older version of DF.
A tiny underground monster with large claws and horns. It walks on two legs and is dangerous when encountered in large numbers.
Crundles should present no problems to an experienced adventurer.

While weak individually, crundles often move in large packs and can pose a substantial Template:L to workers, Template:Ls, Template:Ls or Template:L that might be wandering through Template:L. However, they tend to scatter when Template:L with well-armed Template:Ls, and so pose little threat to any Template:L you send to take care of them.

If you rely on traps to defend your fortress, it should be noted that Template:L are fairly ineffective against crundles. They don't hit the ground hard enough. Unless, of course, the ground is flooded with Template:L, Template:L, or best of all, Template:L.

They can be Template:Ld by the elusive Template:L, and while they are small and offer fairly few edible parts, their Template:L are a good and plentiful source of food. However, Template:L them for Template:L requires many breeding crundles to be viable. Their weakness in Template:L makes them poor war animals, though they do have a semi-respectable Template:L value of 50.
