Sponge men, like giant sponges, appear in savage bodies of water. Unlike the sponge and its giant counterpart, it has limbs and is mobile. Its humanoid body makes it actually vulnerable to combat damage, Unlike other sponges, the Sponge man does have blood and can bleed to death like any other blood possessing creature and its sponge body is extremely weak to damage, far easier to cut than flesh. This means it will usually die very quickly from blood loss. Sponge men feel pain like their sponge relatives and will lose consciousness quickly if injured.
