Cougars are somewhat rare large cats that live in mountains and woodlands. They rarely attack dwarves, preferring instead to wander around far from your fortress.

Cougars can be captured and Template:Ld by a Template:L. While cougar parts are worth twice as much as Template:L parts, it will take a long time to start a breeding program unless the Template:L bring a breeding pair.
