This article is about an older version of DF.
Crundles should present no problems to an experienced adventurer.
A tiny underground monster with large claws and horns. It walks on two legs and is dangerous when encountered in large numbers.

While weak individually, crundles often move in large packs and can pose a substantial Template:L to workers, Template:Ls, and Template:Ls that might be wandering through Template:L. However, they tend to scatter when Template:L with well-armed Template:Ls, and so pose little threat to any Template:L you send to take care of them.

If you rely on traps to defend your fortress, it should be noted that Template:L are fairly ineffective against crundles. They don't hit the ground hard enough. Unless, of course, the ground is made of Template:L.

It is notable that while they can be Template:Ld by the Template:L, they are small and offer fairly few edible parts, so Template:L them for Template:L is probably not viable. This and their weakness in Template:L mean that there is little point in taming them, though they do have a semi-respectable Template:L value of 50.
