A huge brown creature found in temperate woodland. It is known for its ferocious attack, usually when it or its young are threatened.

Grizzly bears are now trainable into War/hunting grizzly bears. See Template:L for how this is done, and for a list of other trainable creatures. Grizzly bears can be caught in cage traps and can sometimes be bought (readily caged and tamed) from the elven caravan (see Template:L).
