This article is about the current version of DF.
Note that some content may still need to be updated.

A large creature the shape of a chipmunk.

Giant chipmunks are a much bigger and fluffier, version of the regular chipmunk. They can reach the size of a grizzly bear, and swallow dwarves in one bite.

Combat While an unarmed civilian may unfortunately be killed by a giant chipmunk acting in self defense, a few well-trained dwarves should be able to kill one of these animals. As a result, giant chipmunks aren't really much of a threat, especially as they usually aren't hostile.

Trading Elves will sometimes offer giant chipmunks as an exotic pet.
