Best [[ambusher|hunted]] or [[cage trap|baited]] and killed before they get away with something useful. Though large enough, they are not a viable base creature for your [[meat industry]] because of their solitary nature - the chances of getting a breeding pair are extremely low. Better off just slaughtering them outright.

Like their smaller cousins, giant coatis may steal items from the fortress if given an opportunity, and will take any item they can get their paws on, not just food. Best hunted or baited and killed before they get away with something useful. Though large enough, they are not a viable base creature for your meat industry because of their solitary nature - the chances of getting a breeding pair are extremely low. Better off just slaughtering them outright.
