Mythic sites preview.png

Mysterious lairs, dungeons and palaces (Site mythical 1.pngSite mythical 2.pngSite mythical 3.png / ) are mythical sitesv51.01-beta26 that can be explored in adventurer mode. They are created in a time before time, with no known founder.

Structure[edit]

Lair[edit]

The smallest of the mythic site types, a mysterious lair is a square room with a downward staircase in the center on the ground floor. The lower floor has a row of tables and trapped chests.

Inhabitants[edit]

Procedural names

The names of these new objects are usually procedurally generated per world. Constant names to use for these on the wiki are still being discovered.

An immortal historical figure, a civilized creature with a unique title (such as "ancient of the trees" or "bark worshipper"), is generated to inhabit those sites. Currently, this figure has no interactions throughout history, beyond being a member of a "mythic entity". They are equipped with high-quality weapons and armor, and good combat skills to wield them. They also have a waterskin filled with a primordial substance they can drink to heal. Visually, their skin is drawn with the same purple tone as a necromancer. It is unknown what powers their title grants them.

A small squad of goblin soldiers (likely due to not needing to eat or drink)[Verify] also guard these sites. They are worse-equipped and less skilled than the aforementioned guardian.

Quest[edit]

A deity might ask their chosen to retrieve a primordial remnant from a dungeon. It appears that the same sphere influences the name of both this object and the creature guarding it.
