MDF: v1.31

Soapmaking has been moved to this new location.

Create saltpeter from potash and brimstone from gypsum. Both together allow you to create black powder. Each reaction gives you three black powder pouches. These are needed for landmines, guns and even in the expedition system. The Chemist also extracts glycerol from plants or seeds.

Glycerol is the base material for explosives. You need to refine it to nitroglycerin, which can be used for dynamite. Dynamite ammo is extremely potent. If the ammo gets stuck in a target, expect a massive explosion.

WARNING: Explosives and dwarves don't mix well. You might want to build this somewhere secluded, because you never know what will happen. You might also want to surround it with fireproof materials.
