The wood processor is a rather important building. You can strip woodstalks for wood, with a ratio of four to one. Four woodstalks give you one wooden log. Cutting dug up gnarled roots also give one wooden log.
You can polish smoothed wood with oil to further increase the value.
Using sawdust and glue you can create plywood logs.
You can break down any wooden item here to get back some scrapwood logs. These have a value of 0, but can be used just like any other wood, for fuel for example.
