A large monster in the shape of a damselfly.

Giant damselflies are much larger versions of the standard vermin damselfly. Giant damselfies seem not to appear into the game for now, due to their starting biome being the same as the damselfly, POOL (ponds), and large creatures visibly being unable to spawn in ponds.

Damselflies (Zygoptera) are essentially slimmer, more fragile-looking dragonflies. Despite their appearance, however, they are ferocious predators like dragonflies. Some dwarves admire giant damselflies for their coloration, frequently metallic blue.
