v50.14 · v0.47.05 This article is about the current version of DF.Note that some content may still need to be updated. |
- A person with the wings and head of a fly.
Fly men are humanoid versions of the common fly and a species of animal people, found in savage pools. They are a little over half the size of an adult dwarf and are unlikely to pose a threat a fortress' inhabitants. All fly men are born as full-sized adults, and with Legendary skill in climbing.
Like other savage animal people, fly men may occasionally join civilizations, becoming full-fledged citizens who may appear in your fortress as visitors or be playable in adventurer mode. Because they have a total of four arms, they can equip and use multiple items at once, i.e. two shields and a war hammer.
Some dwarves like fly men for their ability to annoy.
This article or section has been rated D for Dwarf. It may include witty humour, not-so-witty humour, bad humour, in-jokes, pop culture references, and references to the Bay12 forums. Don't believe everything you read, and if you miss some of the references, don't worry. It was inevitable. |
Despite the rumors you might've heard, fly men are not that great at quantum teleportation science.
