Wikipedia article

This article is about the current version of DF.
Note that some content may still need to be updated.

A tiny diurnal monkey. It spends its time in the trees searching for food.

Capuchins are small, diurnal, tree-dwelling monkeys found in tropical forest and mangrove swamp biomes. They are relatively rare and occur in small loose groups. They are prone to stealing items and food, but are relatively harmless. Some dwarves prefer capuchins for their intelligence and their social nature.

In Real Life

In the real world, capuchin monkeys are found in Central and South America, living in groups of 10 to 40. They are considered the most intelligent among New World monkeys, and are often used in laboratory testing.
