Some dwarves [[Preferences|like]] fly men for their ''ability to annoy''.

Additionally, just like other insectoid people - fly men have multiple hands (4), which allow them to hold multiple large items at once. To example two shields and a polearm.

Fly men are humanoid versions of the common swan and a species of animal people, found in savage pools. They are a little over half the size of an adult dwarf and are unlikely to pose a threat a fortress' inhabitants. All fly men are born as full-sized adults, and with Legendary skill in climbing.

Like other savage animal people, fly men may occasionally join civilizations, becoming full-fledged citizens who may appear in your fortress as visitors or be playable in adventurer mode. Because they have a total of four arms, they can equip and use multiple items at once, i.e. two shields and a war hammer.

Some dwarves like fly men for their ability to annoy.

Despite the rumors you might've heard, fly men are not that great at quantum teleportation science.
