A huge monster in the shape of a cassowary.

A giant cassowary grows to be larger than a full-grown bull moose. Giant cassowaries have a good pet value of 500. A breeding pair can provide exotic livestock for your meat industry, although their egg clutches are rather small for a bird. Giant cassowary chicks grow to full size in one year, but require two years to reach adulthood.

Some dwarves prefer giant cassowaries for their casques (helmet-like structures).
