Giant rats are the large versions of normal vermin rats.

Behaviour

They sometimes steal your food and booze and can be used as mounts by goblin siegers. Giant rats should not be engaged by peasants, as they can sometimes be quite dangerous. They also can be found in caves or caverns.

Use

Giant rats can be tamed, but compared to many other animals, they provide few products when butchered, despite the fact that their products are worth twice as much as those from more mundane creatures. The best thing to do with one of these creatures might well be to sell them, as they have a high pet value of 500, like most other giant creatures.
