Sloths are forest-dwelling mammals widely known for their slow speed. Sloths used to move at the same default speed as many other animals, faster than low-agility dwarves, but as of v.0.40.01 they are extremely slow.

Sloths are not particularly dangerous or valuable, though they can be tamed and bred for meat or pets.
