Note that some content may still need to be updated.

A large flying reptile with a long neck and beak. It can soar at amazing speeds.

The quetzalcoatlus is an extinct creature from the Cretaceous era that can be found in temperate shrublands and savannas. Nearly 4 times the size of a dwarf, these fliers are exotic mounts, meaning that elves may ride them in sieges and have a fun time flying over your defences. They can be caught in cage traps and trained into somewhat valuable pets, laying 4 to 8 eggs, or used as flying war animals to terrorise any goblin unfortunate enough to face your militia. As with many fliers, they are born with Legendary skill in climbing.

Some dwarves like quetzalcoatlus for their wingspan and speed.

D4Dwarf.png This article or section has been rated D for Dwarf. It may include witty humour, not-so-witty humour, bad humour, in-jokes, pop culture references, and references to the Bay12 forums. Don't believe everything you read, and if you miss some of the references, don't worry. It was inevitable.

Some rock short sword using humans have been known to venerate a megabeast taking the form of a feathered, legless quetzalcoatlus, with the associated spheres of sun, wisdom, scholarship, sun, wind, art, trade and crafts.

Admired for its wingspan.
