A gigantic hairless mammal with a long trunk and two backward-curving tusks.

Deinotherium is an extinct relative of elephants, introduced in the Dino Update along with other prehistoric creatures. Deinotheriums are over twice the weight of actual elephants, but otherwise share many characteristics with them, such as the same lifespan, grazing, and being trainable for war.

Deinotherium products are luxuriously valuable, being priced ten times as much as common materials and twice than those from regular elephants.

Some dwarves like deinotheriums for their backward-curving tusks.
