This article is about the current version of DF.
Note that some content may still need to be updated.

A person with the head and powerful legs of a kangaroo.

Kangaroo men are humanoid versions of the common kangaroo and a species of unremarkable animal people, found in savage desert and temperate biomes. They are about as heavy as a dwarf, being only slightly heavier, and should pose no real threat to a civilian unless provoked.

Like other savage animal people, kangaroo men may occasionally join civilizations, becoming full-fledged citizens who may appear in your fortress as visitors or be playable in adventurer mode.

Some dwarves like kangaroo men for their pouches and their great leaps.
