A very large cephalopod with a coiled shell.

Ammonites are extinct aquatic cephalopods from the Devonion era. They can be found in any type of savage ocean. Unlike standard fish, they cannot be butchered (but are live cookable), cannot feel pain when attacked, cannot be stunned, feel no fear or dizziness and never sleep.

Some dwarves like like ammonites for their shells and many tentacles.
